IDEAL CITY

Our ideal city combines several ideas into one organic environment devoid of the conflicts typical of current cities. These ideas are: (1) separation of mobility networks with shared economy and simple public metro system, to eliminate transport conflicts, reduce fleet by 60% and cut commute time drastically; (2) landscaped city and medium built density, to promote social ties and establish a new relation with nature; (3) granular distribution of communal services and multi-functional zoning, to optimise the use of public and communal areas and add vitality to all districts; (4) resource management incorporating energy self-sufficiency, water management, and a green belt as 0km food production zone, to really try to save the planet.

This ideal city is a dream: however, all technologies exist and an enlightened administration could develop it at the same cost of expanding current cities but with much more savings during its life cycle.
